P3 in qualifying and missed out on P2 by 0.1!
Race 1 was rather uneventful, had a really good start, but didn’t manage to make anything of it. It was a night race and I felt abit out of my depth. My race pace was still very competitive but I didnt feel comfortable, it’s so dark, the lights illuminating the track created so many shadows so more experience needed! Still crossed the line P3 with good championship points.
Race 2 - The race result today was P3 again after making it up from P4 on lap 1, after that it was all about maintaining that position. Initially I could hold pace with the two leaders but then really struggled in the 2nd half of the race. The tyre really fell away and I wasn’t able to maintain the race pace. I was also then being caught by the guy behind so I was pushing like hell to stay in front.
Thankfully after waiting and waiting, the chequered flag came out and we kept our position!
