A weekend of what could have been at Brands Hatch, after two lock ups in a wet qualifying and hitting the wall on both occasions I never manage to put the potential together. I was pushing / trying to hard which in these cars never ends up well. All of this considered we still qualified P13 and P5 in class which meant we could make progress to the podiums in the races.

For Race 1 the start was ok as was turn 1, once we got to turn 2 everyone starting bunching up on the inside so I went wide to try and get them on the outside. It worked up until the exit and where I was pushed off loosening 3 places. From there it was damage limitation in terms of points finishing the race p14 and 5th in class.
Race 2 was exciting the whole way through, started P15 as a pro crashed out on lap one of Race 1 so he took my spot. A fiery first few laps resulted in a 5 car pack, including me fighting the whole race but being such a short lap and us all within a 0.1 second of each other the overtake never came. We still managed to gain a place meaning we finished P4 in class.
For those that came thank you, I hope you had a great weekend! I’m sorry it was such a rushed day, the red flag for the touring cars completely messed up the schedule.
