Thruxton, one that separates the men from the boys. Race 1 we started in P15. After a scare with my gearbox, as it wouldn’t change into first on the starting grid, we had a good start and managed to stay out of trouble on the opening lap and managed to gain 1 place at turn 1 heading into lap 2. From there I was in a train of three cars that we were much faster than, but I couldn’t force them into any errors, despite showing them my nose up the inside a few times. We finished p14.

Race 2 we started P14 but this time had a great start! We gained two spots on the start and again stayed out of trouble for lap one despite being surrounded by cars. Thoughout the race we sustained the pressure from the Pro behind and even managed to pull away. We then forced my next target to defend in the entry to the chicane. This gave me the outside though the right and inside for the left. I got him on the exit and we headed off down the road.
A few comings together up the road with other drivers meant we finished 9th!
Super happy with the result, no silver cups this time but we have a long way to go! Thank you to all those that came, see you in two weeks at Oulton park!
