A tough weekend with damage and tire issues, but we fought hard to bring home class points in both races.
Race 1: We got off to a great start, gaining around four spots in the opening corners. I then went for a move on the outside but got pushed onto the grass, which cost us our front splitter. This made it very difficult to turn and slow the car, as the front end was effectively being lifted. I managed to cross the line in 8th and 2nd in class, but a 5-second penalty dropped me to 11th and 4th in class.
Race 2: The start was okay, with another good getaway and gaining a position. However, my rear tires were gone after that, and I didn’t have the confidence to push, especially in the slower corners. I crossed the line in 11th and 3rd in class.
